The lab will use these templates as a starting place to learn how to take Boardmaker to the next level to create on-screen activities, using Boardmaker Plus. These templates allow users to more quickly and easily create a variety of on-screen activities including interactive books, writing activities, dictionary pages, recipes and much more. To begin the lab portion of this session, participants will be introduced to the new templates available for use. Participants using Boardmaker will be excited to see this next step and to learn how easy it is to take their activities to the next level. Looking at a variety of types of boards and activities created with the new enhanced version of Boardmaker, Boardmaker Plus, will provide participants with a broad understanding of how the activities can be created as an extension of Boardmaker.
The session will begin with an overview of interactive, instructional activities on the computer. The focus of this session will be the use of the new templates to quickly and easily enhance Boardmaker activities into fun, interactive activities on the computer using Boardmaker Plus. This lab will provide participants an opportunity to witness brand new and innovative ways to bring Boardmaker activities to life, while providing a hands-on experience to learn this new version of Boardmaker.
